Alarms are for lazy assholes who cant be arsed to watch their rods and reciever's are for criminal assholes who break the law and leave their rods!
Get yourself some V front rests and watch the tips and listen for the clutch

Agreed, V rests made from natural willow, I myself use bio-degradable tackle at every opportunity.

Im impressed with the ATTs so far, really impressed.

Plenty knock the ATTX receiver for distance but I only want to to go off at night on the pillow or when i wander upto the next swim to chat rubbish for a bit and it does that.

I do like the look of the new nevilles with transmitter you can turn the neville head off and have the transmitter on.
But I dont think the transmitter has volume or a vibro mode?
I still have my old Delks that are now 12 years old and still working, sort of.

Always try to avoid any alarm that is coupled with a flashing blue light...
